DEREK DEPREY

Much of Derek’s day is spent as a General Manager for the Wisconsin Athletic Club (WAC) where he teaches his staff the core principles of leadership, training, and personal development. Working at the WAC allows Derek to fulfill his passions – personal growth, wellness and building relationships – each day. He’s constantly given the opportunity to meet unique and talented people and spend his day with many people he’d consider friends. He’s so passionate about his work that it often doesn’t even feel like work. Shortly after becoming a GM at the WAC, Derek delved into the world of personal growth and development, created his own business, Move Results, as an avenue to engage and impact others through motivational speaking and leadership skill-building facilitation. SUSAN DIETRICH

Susan Dietrich is a principal owner of TOPS Staffing LLC, AllTek Staffing and Resource Group Inc., e-Staff Consulting Group, AccountStaff Inc., Sterling Office Professionals, and TVS Inc. She began the western chapter of the Pennsylvania Staffing Association, an ASA-affiliated chapter, and served as its president for three years. Dietrich also has served on the ASA chapter leadership council and the chapter past presidents’ committee.

TOM KOSNIK

Tom Kosnik is a certified organizational development advisor to the staffing industry. For over twenty years Tom has developed and facilitated peer growth strategy RoundTables specific to the staffing industry. Tom advises staffing firms in every sector of the staffing industry on business strategies, mergers and acquisitions, increasing gross margins, sales enhancements, compensation design and other organizational development variables. In 2014 the Visus Group became a Miller Heiman partner offering sales enablement methodologies and tools that specialize in positioning sellers of staffing services as a value add vendor to overcome the threat of becoming a commodity in the eyes of the buyer. Tom and Visus Group participates in numerous national, regional, industry-specific, and professional organizations. He holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Development from Bowling Green State University, OH (2001). Visus Group is also certified with Miller Heiman and the Center for Creative Leadership.

DANNY CAHILL

Danny Cahill started at Hobson Associates right out of college. He became its Rookie of the Year, top producer and general manager by the age of 26. At 27 he bought the company and has since built it into one of the country’s largest search firms specializing in Software Sales, Bio Tech Sales and Industrial Sales talent. He is the only industry “guru” that runs a search firm every day. He does what you do. He was the Educational Chairperson of the Pinnacle Society, 75 of the highest achievers in the industry and he still personally mentors many members. He also owns and runs AccordingToDanny.com, an online training and mentoring company dedicated to enhancing the skills and jumpstarting the spirits of recruiters worldwide. His training products have become core tools for a generation of recruiters, and his keynote presentations have made him one of the most sought after speakers in the country. HireAbility overwhelmingly voted him the industry’s most popular speaker. NAPS elected him to the Hall of Fame in 2006, he was given the first NAPS “Spirit” Award and he received the Dave Knutson Lifetime Achievement Award. AccordingToDanny.com was awarded Best In Class for Training Excellence from MRINetwork, and they awarded Danny their “Favorite Son Award” for being the most sought after speaker for their conferences.

JILL P. O’BRIEN

Upon graduation from law school, Ms. O’Brien joined Laner Muchin, Ltd. in 1989. She is a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee and its Attorney Hiring Chairperson. Ms. O’Brien has been repeatedly selected as one of the “Top 50 Women Attorneys in Illinois.” Additionally, she is included in the list of Illinois’ Super Lawyers (2005-16); Top Lawyers in Illinois – Labor and Employment Law Related; and the Leading Lawyers Network of Top Lawyers. She also has received the highest Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating for ethical standards and legal ability. In 2013, Ms. O’Brien was elected to be a Fellow/Member of the prestigious College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. For more than 25 years, Ms. O’Brien has represented public and private sector employers in numerous areas of labor and employment law, including: collective bargaining negotiations; grievance and interest arbitrations; anti-harassment, anti-discrimination and diversity in the workplace educational programs; drafting and enforcement of confidentiality, non-competition and other restrictive covenant agreements; prevention assistance and compliance obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Workers’ Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act and all other state, federal and local employment and labor laws. Ms. O’Brien has served on the Adjunct Faculty of the Loyola School of Law where she taught Employment Discrimination law.
