OUR PANELISTS:

Jason Barton, Pharm.D., is the President of Barton Staffing Solutions, a Chicago-based staffing and direct hire employment agency serving light industrial industries including manufacturing, warehouse distribution and logistics, publishing, food and food containers, high-tech and others. Jason grew up around the staffing industry and recently took the lead of this company his father started in 1998.

Jason joined Barton Staffing Solutions in 2010 after a successful career as a managing pharmacist working for the Midwest mega retailers Meijer and Jewel-Osco. Starting out as a regional account manager, Jason covered multiple branch locations driving sales growth and new client acquisition for the company while in 2012, Barton Professional Placement emerged as the direct hire division. At the same time he led the leadership team in the profitable realignment of the firm around ever-evolving regulatory and compliance changes across E-Verify, unemployment, workers compensation and the Affordable Care Act. In March of 2016, Jason became the company’s President. As an Illinois native, Jason studied at Eastern Illinois University and graduated from St. Louis College of Pharmacy.

Sejal Shah founded TotalMed Staffing in 2005 to provide contingent clinical and non-clinical staff to hospitals, payors, and medical groups in need of people who genuinely care. Driven by a strong entrepreneurial spirit and seeing further needs in the staffing industry, Shah founded two other companies. AWI provides flexible, expert-level candidates for technology and engineering firms in search of talent that readily overcomes obstacles. Total MSP is a contingent work-force solution that streamlines staffing processes and manages complete fulfillment processes for healthcare facilities.

Understanding the importance of streamlining business needs to benefit growth; Shah organized his brands under the SVS Services Group as they surpassed the $100 million mark. Together they operate under one vision of “improving lives through customer focused people solutions”.

Under Shah’s leadership, TotalMed won Inavero’s Best of Staffing Awards for service excellence in Talent and Client Satisfaction in 2016 and 2017. These awards put TotalMed in the top 2% of staffing agencies in the US and Canada. In addition, TotalMed was awarded the 2017 Gold Medal from Travel Nursing Central, a leading independent authority in the industry. These awards serve as proof of SVS Services Group’s commitment to deliver top-notch professionals that will deliver exceptional results.
